International Widows Day 2023
The 2023 campaign invited supporters to a two-part International Widows Day program: a June 22 celebration dinner at Gem Suites Hotel in Nairobi, followed by a June 23 widow-centered gathering in Kisumu.

The page presents the Nairobi dinner as Nyanam's first celebration dinner for widows on the eve of International Widows Day.

Kisumu remained the main June 23 celebration
The year page says the Kisumu celebration would bring together more than 500 Nyanam widows on June 23.
It also names the Kisumu County Department of Social Development and the Ministry of Health, Kisumu West sub-County, as implementation partners that would bring preventative reproductive health services to widows in attendance.
Women in the Window International and Imago Dei Fund are named as funders, and the closing line on the page states the point plainly: widows are visible, resourceful, and resilient.
