Voice of Change

A widow-centric Bible-informed curriculum that empowers widows to create meaningful change in their lives.

What is Voice of Change?

Voice of Change (VOC) is a widow-centric Bible-informed widowhood curriculum that seeks to unpack the difficult experiences of widows and enable widowed women to devise actions that can bring meaningful change in their lives.

VOC is our own unique intervention, created to be delivered by widows through widow group settings. The curriculum is a series of topical issues pertinent to widowhood—from parenting, food security, to human rights and land rights.

Who Implements Voice of Change

Widows Leading Widows

Widows in widow-to-widow support groups called Leadership Circles (LCs) that meet weekly. These circles are united, holistic, self-funded, self-led, and value peer support as the foundation for transformation.

Partners & Organizations

NGOs, Churches, and CBOs working with widows and interested in implementing Nyanam's intervention (VOC). Partners are vetted for value alignment before joining the Nyanam Voice of Change network.
