Our holistic wellbeing programs support the widows' mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical health based on the widows' ideas and needs. We recognize that health challenges are often interconnected and require comprehensive support.
Many widows face significant health challenges including depression, anxiety, trauma from loss, and physical health issues exacerbated by poverty and stress. Our programs address these challenges through culturally appropriate and community-based interventions.
We integrate traditional healing practices with modern healthcare approaches, ensuring that widows receive support that respects their cultural context while providing evidence-based care.

After losing my husband, I fell into deep depression. I couldn't eat, sleep, or care for my children properly. The community blamed me for his death, which made everything worse. Through Nyanam's health program, I joined a support group where I met other widows who understood my pain. With counseling and spiritual support, I slowly began to heal. Today, I help facilitate support groups for other widows going through similar struggles.
